X; The Web Components Polyfill

The Web needs a component model!
I have heard that rally call for years. The current attempt to give us a quality model is Web Components, originally pioneered by Dimitri Glazkov and Alex Russell.
The spec is still a draft, so how long will it take to come to a Browser Near You?
Maybe sooner than you think. Mozilla has pushed X Tag as a polyfill for the custom element portion of the spec, so document.register is filled (but not shadow DOM etc etc).
Great to see continued progress.
